Fun with mauve

I know that is a really lame title, but sometimes I have trouble coming up with something clever, and I really was having fun with mauve.   My inspiration for this look was a picture I came across showing a teenager interpretation of Jem and the holigrams.  I thought this would be kind if a fun way to do pink, and still keep it natural enough for a younger girl and good for fall.  I used all shimmery shades of eyeshadow except my brow highlight is a a matte cream,  to help with the natural theme.  I used a light shimmery peachy pink for an inner corner highlight.   A medium shimmery mauve as the lid color and a deep olive/ emerald color in the crease.   I then blended out the crease color with a deeper shimmery mauve shade.  For my liner, I'm still working with the Jordana fabuliner, and I feel like the shape of it here was pretty good.  I smudged some of the green e eyeshadow across my lower lash line and the eyes are done.  I used a shimmery pink cream blush on my cheeks,  to bad the Maybelline dream mousse blushes were d/c, this was an hg product,  but it will take a long time to use it up, and surely I will find a dupe for it.  On my lips is my most loved lipstick of all time, Revlon color burst lipstick in candy pink, unfortunately this too is discontinued,  and I have yet to find a dupe, arrrgh.  For a complete product breakdown or if you have any questions please contact me.  As always only drugstore makeup was used,  thank you so much for visiting my blog and have a great day.  ( bonus mani of the next few days,  didn't realize it was such a lettuce green :/ )
