Once upon a dream

I was feeling very Disney princess today, and decided to do a look dedicated to Aurora, or sleeping beauty.   Some people describe her as as the most beautiful princess of all,  she's not exactly my favorite,  but she is stunning.   Most people would think princess looks have to be glitter and pastels,  but I did a very neutral look,  using different shades of taupe on the eyes and a sultry red lip.  As always only drugstore makeup was used,  for a complete product breakdown please contact me.   Thank you so much for visiting my blog and have a great day.

Red hot

I really was inspired by a classic red lip for this look,  the one I chose was Revlon matte really red.  I extended the look to my eyes with a bold red cut crease,  black eyeliner and your done.  I hope you like the look,  as always only drugstore makeup was used.   For a complete product breakdown or if you have any questions please contact me.   Thank you for visiting my blog and have a great day.

Autumn's Coming

I really wanted to do fall colors for this look. I used deep gold on the lid, and copper in the crease.   I used a subtle brown liner, warm blush and a warm neutral lipstick.   I found this picture online and I thought it was perfect not only for Dolly night,  but also for fall. I have had several Orange kittens visiting my porch lately, so it seemed appropriate. Thank you so much for visiting my blog,  as always only drugstore makeup was used.   For a complete product breakdown please contact me,  and have a great day.

Black Canary

Is there a sexier heroin in the DC universe, I can't think of one, so in tribute I did a sexy black eye.  I used a black pencil,  smudged that out with a matte black shadow,  and then added a shimmery black shadow in the crease,  with less intensity.   I added a small amount of white shimmer on the inner corner,  and a hot pink lip, for added sexiness. As always only drugstore makeup was used.   For a complete product breakdown,  or if you have any questions please contact me.   Thank you for visiting my blog, and have a great day.

Truly Outrageous Purple

Today's look is inspired by the pastel pink and purples of the 80s.  I used several light shades of purple on the lids,  a fun and frosty pink blush,  and a very pale lip,  I think the lip really makes this look retro and fun.   The lipstick is strawberry milk from NYX cosmetics, and its one of my favorites.   As always only drugstore makeup was used.   For a complete product breakdown or if you have any questions please contact me.   Thank you for visiting my blog and have a great day.

Product of the week

This week's product is setting powder.  I have several,  loose, or pressed, matte or shimmer.  I sometimes wear these over just primer and sunblock.   Other times I use a setting spray, some type of foundation and even concealer.  Setting powder makes you look finished,  and I like that.   What is your favorite setting powder I would love to know. Thanks for visiting my blog,  have a great day.

Classic Beauty

I imagined my favorite beauty as a classic pin up, neutral eyes,  red lips,  and a sexy expression.   I used a shimmery beige on the lids, with a shimmery brown blended out from the crease.  I then added a black cat liner, and plenty of mascara.   I put on a pink blush,  and the bright lip is a Revlon SL matte in really red, its a classic look for a classic beauty.   As always only drugstore makeup was used.   For a complete product breakdown, or if you have any questions please contact me.   Thank you for visiting my blog and have a great day.

Megera Purple

Hercules is my favorite Disney movie,  this purple look was inspired by Meg's sassy style.   I used mostly Wet n Wild eyeshadows for the purple look on the eyes.   Went with a really fun pink blush from Milani, and a brighter glossy lip.  For a complete product breakdown please contact me, as always only drugstore products were used.   Thank you for visiting my blog and have a great day.
