Beauty inspiration

I wanted a superhero for today's beauty inspiration,  I went with Hawkgirl.  Shes so beautiful and even though she is am alien she makes me think of earthtones.  I think it would be awesome to have wings, not sure I would really do anything with them, but it would be cool.   Do you have a favorite superhero?   Who is it and why ?, let me know.

Product of the week

This week's product is blush, yay.  My favorite brand of blushes is Loreal, specifically their true match line.  The true match blushes make it so easy to pick a shade, just follow your True match foundation number to the perfect blush.   I have branched out to other blushes besides the specific one for my skintone but they are so pretty.  All of these blushes have a glow so if you are into matte blushes you may not like these.  They are all pigmented and in my opinion glowy rather than shimmering,  my favorite shades are baby blossoms,  c1, perfect peach, n1, and innocent flush, n3-4. The closest foundation match for me is n1, I have tried the liquid and cream, I found these drying, I do enjoy the powder but it is a bit to dark, but when you are this pale, everything is.  If you are pale like me or even if you are not try a blush from Loreal true match, they have something for everyone.

Goldeneye

I know I have done gold eyeshadow looks before,  but I'm so happy with this one.  Instead of doing an old gold kinda neutral look, I went with a bright yellow gold,  and it really sparkles.  I used eye products from Maybelline, Physicians Formula, Milani and Nyx.  I warmed up my face with Loreal true match blush in baby blossoms,  and I went with Nyx lipgloss in pink nude. Thank you so much for visiting my blog, I have had a scary week and was grateful for a creative distraction.  As always only drugstore products were used,  please contact me for a complete breakdown,  and have a wonderful day.

Doubl wing neutral look, with a pop

Product of the Week

This week's product is NYX eyeshadow,  they have an amazing texture and incredible color selection,  I can't wait to get my hands on more.   You can find any color you want,  and have it in matte,  satin, shimmer, pearl,  glitter or even metallic.   NYX makes singles, trios and all kinds of fun and useful pallettes from small to large.   Most drugstores do not carry NYX, but it can be found at Ulta, or several places online.

Totally 80s

This look was inspired by 80s I used mostly milani on the eyes. The purple has a beautiful duocrome it is accentuated by putting it over a black shadow pencil.   I put a dark maroon in the crease. The last color was a ver bright pink.  I put the pink shadow all the wa y to mu brow and some on my temples.  The blush I used was a fail, I dipped my blush brush into a frosts light lavender,  way to frosty for cheeks, yuck.  The lips I did a a matte lip cream, I really love this, Iove mattes and I think this looks great and enhances the overall look and theme.   I also did a bigger hair look,  in the last pic I tried to catch myself using lots of hair spray.  Thank your for visiting my blog,  as always drugstore makeup only for my looks.  If you have any questions please leave a message,  I check every day.   My question for you is what is your favorite 80s song, I have so many, but I'm going to go with , sarah,  by Jefferson air plane.  Well I realized I have a picture of the next look I'm going to publish,  just consider its a teazer..

Neutral eyes with outer corner smokiness

This look used only matte colors, I think its really pretty,  totally work friendly,  with a sexy edge.  I used eyeshadow from the physicians formula,  and wet n wild.  I used a rosy matte blush very lightly to achieve a natural look. On my lips is born with it maybelline lipstick, its a very neutral lipstick,  with just enough pink to work with my coloring,  hope your like it, for a complete product break down please leave a comment with your request,  I would be more than happy to answer. Thank you for visiting my blog.

Product of the week

This week's product is the Maybelline eye studio quads.  I love these eyeshadows, they have a great range of colors, and they are very easy to work with.  With one quad you can easily plan multiple looks and not worry about the colors not coordinating. I actually prefer the texture of these shadows to the Wet n Wild ones, less powdery and less fallout.   If you haven't tried these give them a shot,  I think you will fall in love.
