One of my beauty passions is primers.  For those of us with skintones that are unique it can be very difficult to find face products at the drugstore.  Having no luck in my search for a white enough foundation I stumbled into primers as a way to even out the texture of my skin.  Primers are a colorless way to perfect your complexion.  While primers provide very little coverage there are different textural ranges depending on your goal and skin type.  From matte and oil control to moisturizing and dewy.  I prefer a matte satin finish and my skin is dry to normal but is pretty shiny on its own.  Most primers also provide a good barrier between your skincare and sun products and your makeup.  Also a primer should go a long way in keeping your makeup looking fresh for hours.  I demand a lot from a primer, on workdays I wear my makeup for 16- 20 hours and I always want to look fresh.  My favorite primer is the Revlon colorstay perfecting primer, and it is by this primer that I judge all others.  I always put this on after my sunblock moisturizer.  It provides the matte satin finish I prefer and any powder I put over it tends to last as long as its on.  It comes in a pump bottle which makes precise application easier.  My only gripee with that is it is difficult to determine when you need to buy more.  The bottle appears to have plenty even though it is empty.  I suggest you have a backup of this or a different primer reddily available jut in case u run out.   I have tried several different primers and this one

has neverer let down.  If you have trouble finding a foundation or just are needing your foundation to last longer give primers a try you have nothing to lose.
